6. How do I book a move with Leo Packers and Movers?
Share your moving date, pickup and drop locations, and a rough idea of what needs to move — we’ll work out a free quote from there.
7. How early should I book my move?
One to two weeks ahead works well for most moves. If you’re shifting during a weekend, month-end, or the festive season, booking earlier gives you better odds of getting your preferred date.
8. What happens on the day of the move?
Our team turns up at the agreed time, packs everything properly, loads it onto the vehicle, and once it reaches the new location, helps with unloading and placing items where you want them.
9. Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
You can. The earlier you let us know, the easier it is for us to adjust the crew and vehicle we’d already lined up for you.
10. Do you provide a written quotation?
Yes — based on distance, how much needs to move, and the services you actually need. Nothing verbal, nothing vague.
11. Is there a helpline for urgent queries during the move?

12. How much do packers and movers charge in India?
It depends mainly on distance and volume. As a rough guide, local home shifting up to 100 km falls between ₹4,000–₹8,000, while a long-distance move beyond 1,500 km can run ₹28,000–₹45,000.
13. Are there any hidden charges?
No. Whatever’s in your quotation is what you pay — we don’t add anything on moving day that wasn’t discussed beforehand.
14. Does the cost increase during the festive season?
It does, mostly during Dussehra and Diwali in October–November, when demand pushes prices up by roughly 15–25% compared to regular months.
15. Is packing material included in the cost, or charged separately?
Usually included, though it can shift a bit depending on how much material your specific move needs. We’ll spell this out clearly in your quote so there’s no confusion later.
16. Do weekday bookings cost less than weekend bookings?
Often, yes. Tuesday to Thursday slots tend to be cheaper simply because fewer people are booking movers on weekdays.
Packing & Safety
17. What packing materials do you use?
Bubble wrap for anything fragile, heavy-duty corrugated boxes for general household goods and electronics, and foam sheets or stretch film to protect furniture edges.
18. Will you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes — beds, wardrobes, sofas, whatever needs to come apart for safe transport. We put it all back together once it reaches your new home.
19. How are electronics and appliances packed?
Each item is wrapped and boxed on its own with cushioning, so there’s no shifting around or scratching against other items during transit.
20. Can I pack some items myself and leave the rest to your team?
Absolutely, that’s common. Just tell us upfront what you’re handling yourself so we can plan the rest of the move around it.
21. Do you label boxes for easy unpacking?
Every box gets sealed and labelled before it’s loaded, which makes finding things at the other end a lot less frustrating.
